My head is getting back to normal. Normal for me. That’s not to say anything about me is normal.
Will I be sharing blogs more consistently? Hopefully. We’ve been winging it over here for a while now. That probably won’t change any time soon.
I don’t remember where we left off. The boys are finished with “school” for the summer. We’re gonna make Preston read and do math, but his computer work is complete. I feel like we’ve been super busy, but I have little to show for it. Preston almost sliced off his thumb with his Army knife this week. That was exciting. *insert 500 eye roll emojis* He’s home and okay. We’re taking him to see a hand specialist in a week.
Brag ‘O Bit – The other night when Preston almost sawed off his thumb, obviously we had to rush out the door to the ER. Thankfully my friend, Josh, was here – he’s an RN. Sorry for the mental image, but there were pools of blood all over the house from Preston running around in a panic. I looked at JP and said, “we have to go, I need you to clean the floors.” Anyone who knows JP, knows the gravity of that request. I’m thrilled to report, he handled it like a champ! He went from room to room with cleaner and cleaned every last drop. Once upon a time, he would have panicked, thrown up, and diagnosed himself with a blood-borne disease. We’d still be talking about it. He did take photos of everything and we had to go thru them at 2 am so he could verbally recount the entire night to me. That’s okay! I was so proud of him! They had therapy yesterday. I’m sure Amelia got an earful!

What else? I guess that’s about it. July is going to be a very busy month. We have a beach trip planned, and Preston and I are working at Camp Joy NC for a week. I’ll share that content with you, so stay tuned…
