Happy Friday!

I’m definitely happy it’s Friday! It’s been a busy week. I wanted to hop in this space to share a couple of links to recent Greenville stories…

Recently we traveled to Riverbanks Zoo to attend the ribbon cutting for the new Aquarium & Reptile Conservation Center. Read about our trip here.

Last weekend, we took an editorial trip to Denver Downs Farm to check out The South Carolina Sunflower Festival. It was our first time at the farm. Read about our trip here.

I leave for Camp Joy North Carolina tomorrow. The campers don’t arrive until Sunday. We have staff meetings in the afternoon. I get an entire night in a hotel BY MYSELF before the business of the week begins! I’m excited! I’ll be posting, but you can follow my Instagram Stories for our daily shenanigans.

I’ve been feeling super motivated to dive into a manuscript I sat aside a few years ago. It’s about divorce from a child’s perspective. I don’t want to publicly share too many details for copyright reasons (haha) but I’m really excited about it!

Per the contract with my current publisher, I have to offer them first refusal rights to my next manuscript. I have another one that is almost finished I’m going to offer. The divorce one isn’t going to be ready.

Preston’s thumb is healed. Praise the Lord! He’s ecstatic because he gets to play in his final travel ball tournament in Charlotte.
