I had a media thing at the Children’s Museum in Spartanburg this morning. I do not like driving in the rain. But I DO like my friends at the museum so I braved the weather.
I’m also being very dramatic. It was barely sprinkling.

Spartanburg is a really cool town. I kept thinking, why don’t I come here more often?

The museum is opening a Publix grocery store section, complete with a little “cafe.” So cute. If you have young kiddos (0-6), the Spartanburg location is a less-overwhelming version of TCMU Greenville. In our Greenville story I called it “quaint and cozy.”
Shout out to Jesse & Ali for the bear – JP was so excited! It’s already been added to his collection.

I had to stop in Eggs Up Grill while in town. I built my own breakfast wrap. Bacon, cheese and scrambled eggs. Not even kidding, THE BEST burrito I’ve had in a while.
Now let’s rewind to yesterday when I had my first episode with Vertigo. I’m not talking about a dizzy spell. I’m talking, the room was spinning and I fell against the bathroom wall. I made it to the bed and laid down, still spinning. Everything stopped after a couple of minutes. I had to get my sister to drive JP to his therapy appointment and canceled his evening piano lesson. It hasn’t happened again, but my head felt weird for the rest of the day.
I’ve narrowed it down to a few options:
1) I was walking and flipped my head down to throw my hair into a bun at the same time.
2) My left ear was popping a little and I’ve had some sinus issues this week.
3) The weather changing back and forth always messes with my head.
I’m praying it has everything to do with those things and nothing to do with hormones. I did read that women can experience Vertigo when in menopause. No thank you.
Anyway. I’m just over here hoping it never happens again. Not a fan.
Hope you guys are having a good week!
