Links & Things

I loathe the rain. I know we need it and blah, blah, blah, but it makes me feel sad. I’ve not been very productive.

I wanted to share a few links to stories we’ve written on the Greenville site that you may or may not have seen.

Travel Series: Printmaker’s Inn

History Series: Elias Earle

Travel Series: Georgia Aquarium

The other thing I want to share is our trip!

Mama’s booked a cruise! To say I’m excited is a grave understatement. Due to the Covid restrictions, I’ve not sailed since 2018. April cannot get here fast enough!

I’ve been on thirteen Carnival cruises. This will be my first trip on a different cruise line. Celebrity Cruises. Apparently, they’re fancy!

A few months ago, I wrote a newsletter story in memory of Jimmy Buffet. (You can read it here). Basically, Jimmy Buffet frequented a bar in Key West before anyone knew his name. The history behind the spot fascinated me so I’m GOING! We’ll be sailing to Key West and the Bahamas. I’ve been to the Bahamas eight million times, but mom and Laurie haven’t. It’ll be fun showing them around the area. I’m most excited about nanny seeing the crystal clear water.

Mexico, 2017

The ship leaves from the port in Fort Lauderdale. Originally, we were going to fly. We’ve changed our minds. We’re now leaving a day early and staying a night in Saint Augustine. There’s so much history to see!
