Station Staycation|Day Two

I want to start off by saying that I’ve never seen a washer/dryer like this. It washes your clothes and then flips to a dryer and dries them. I’m still amazed.

Saturday, we woke up to Leopard Forest coffee and a quiet trail. Unfortunately, it was too cold to sit outside. We opened all the shades and watched bikers + walkers out for their morning dose of exercise.

This day was my favorite because I had friends join us who aren’t from the area. Seeing the town of Travelers Rest thru their eyes was exciting!

We shopped a little. I pass The Flop Shop daily. All this time I thought it was a store that sold flip flops. 😆

And I’ve always wanted to stop in Charlie’s Southern Rustiques.

They were selling a phone I used as an “antique.” Not okay. I could have spent more time here. There’s so much to look through!

After a quick dinner at Shortfields, we went back to hang at the cottage for the remainder of the evening. (The beer cheese was amazing!)

The Station recently added a fire pit. The area is so cozy + cute. Firewood is provided, tucked away under a weatherproof cover. There’s a light switch for the twinkling lights! I was proud of us (by us, I mean Cassie) for getting the fire started.

I enjoyed every minute of our stay. The (off site) staff was easy to reach and responsive.

SUNDAY

Even though we had fun, it’s always good to be home. It’s already shaping up to be a busy week.

Stay tuned for more over on the Greenville site!
