I’m not sure what’s happened, but somehow we’ve locked ourselves out of WordPress on the laptops. At the moment, I’m only able to blog on my phone. Hence the reason it’s been so long since my last post. There’s just not enough time in the day.

For the few of you who aren’t active on social media and don’t subscribe to my newsletter, I’m going to update you on our life here.

THE BOYS

Preston got braces! He’s still in the my-mouth-hurts-like-h*!! phase, so we’re not sure if he’s going to be happy or not. He does look cute though! He’s spent most the the summer playing baseball. He went to church camp last week at Clemson and loved every minute!

JP has mostly been a hermit. Y’all know he doesn’t come out in the heat. He’s helped me with work and spent some time with Rose and his friend, Larry (as we call her). He’s still fascinated with photography.

ME

I went to Lake Toxaway for the first time. Gosh, it’s beautiful! My book was released while we were there. My friends went over the top with the celebration, which made me feel so special!

MISCELLANEOUS

Mostly, we’ve just been working and trying to stay cool. Staying cool is basically a full time job anyway, right?

Tyler and I are planning our first book signing! I’ll share details closer to time, but go ahead and block off Sunday, August 4th! If you’ve not already purchased a book, you can do that here or here, OR we’ll have books on hand at the signing!

My favorite piece of news? Next Friday, I’m headed to the beach FOR VACATION!!! I’m literally dying on the inside. We travel a good bit, but it’s always work related. I’ve not been on a vacation in 1.4 million years. I don’t know that I’ve ever been so ready for a vacation. This one is going to be AMAZING! I will not be responsible for any small children. Only Preston and his friend. We’re staying in Ocean Lakes, so I’m sure we won’t see them much. 😆
