Tell me you’ve got too much on your plate without telling me you’ve got too much on your plate.
My last post was published on July 6. Today is August 16. Geez, I don’t even know what to say at this point. I’m tired of writing “life updates.” Those bore me and they’re my updates. All I can tell you is, I have too much to do. Each week, something has to go on the back burner. Each week, this space ends up being that thing. A month goes by in the blink of an eye.
It’s not okay.
I want it to change but I’m not making any promises. I don’t trust myself right now.

Things are going GREAT with the book! Tyler and I had our first book signing. His mom made him a stamp to sign his name! We’ve got several Saturday markets on the calendar this fall and hopefully will begin school visits soon!

Have you heard of Victory Junction – Richard & Kyle Petty’s camp for children with disabilities/illnesses? They’re purchasing the book for their gift shop next season! I’m so excited!

Guess I have to be a NASCAR fan now!
We’re working on a story for the newsletter about the camp and the Petty Museum. Both were exceptional experiences.

JP turned 18. I was a wreck the whole day. He wanted to “come full circle” by celebrating at Chuck E. Cheese.

I’ll have to share my actual feelings in another post.
Preston’s back in school as an eighth grader and Jackson is about to start 4K. Nanny, Laurie, and I are establishing routines and gearing up for what will hopefully be a busy season!
I’m heading to Charleston tomorrow for 24 hours. I’m partnering with Sandlapper Water Tours for a ghost tour of the harbor! Stay tuned for pics!
I’m off to bed, goodnight!
