I wanted to hop on here and share the link to my review of Disney’s The Lion King musical at the Peace Center. Read all of my thoughts here!

Tyler Goes To School was the featured book in this morning’s Toddler Time at the Upcountry History Museum!

We had a big crowd. I was surprised because the weather was not ideal. My family is a BIG fan of the museum. It is not expensive to get in. If you’ve not been, please make plans to check it out. If you have been, be sure to visit the new exhibits. Curious George is there thru October 6, and the Star Wars room is AMAZING! You can ask Jackson. He didn’t want to leave.

Curious George turned 83 TODAY! The toddler time attendees sang happy birthday!

Cute little Mize in his George t’shirt had the best time! Toddler Time is included with admission and free for kids under two.

We went out for a celebratory lunch afterwards. Myles Pizza Pub on Pleasantburg in Greenville is a MUST if you love super cheesy pizza, bread and salads.

This is a picture of our dryer door. To get it to stay closed, we have to jam a broken clothes pin in one side and an old baby doll brush in the other. We insert the aforementioned objects only after SLAMMING the door and pressing our knee firmly against the door to get it to start. And when I say firm, I mean, Laurie has an actual bruise on her right knee from doing laundry.
This would not be funny if we didn’t have the ability and/or means to fix the door. We have both. Everyone in our family just chooses to proceed with the psychotic ritual because it’s who we are.
So now you know. We are respected professional writers by day and redneck Martha Stuart rejects by night.
