Rain, Rain, Go Away

We knew our day wasn’t going to turn out as planned. The Braves vs Mets game was canceled. Mom, Lynne, and Deb arrived around three. Lynne has never been to a Braves game, we were really looking forward to taking her. I was bummed!

PSA: the chicken salad at Terrapin’s Brewery & Taproom is SO yummy! Actually, everything at Terrapin is yummy. Located right outside the stadium, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal before a game.

JP and Scott were able to spend extra time together, which was nice. On game days, we don’t usually get to see him (for long) until after the game. For the second day in a row, JP was very happy! I appreciate everyone who messaged to let me know you were thinking of us. The past two days have been full of priceless moments. JP has experienced little to no anxiety. Thank You, Jesus.

All good things must come to an end. We are headed home first thing in the morning. Although I do plan on sleeping in again. Check out is not until eleven. Hopefully the weather won’t give us too much trouble on the way home.

I hope all of you are safe, dry, and healthy so far this week!

Sweet dreams!
