Downtown Alpharetta has become one of my favorite places. Several times, mom and I looked at each other and said, “I wonder if it’s like this every weekend.” I’ll let you know because we’re already planning to return with freinds!

The Friendship Ring

My favorite work of art was located at the Alpharetta Community Center. In light of everything going on in the Upstate, Florida, and Western North Carolina, The Friendship Ring brought tears to my eyes.

The Laborer

Another priceless piece. He represents our burdens and our dreams. On the outside, he’s carrying such a heavy load. Spectators are encouraged to climb the few steps into his pack. The inside is completely black and filled with stars, depicting his dreams. Again with the tears. I wish I had taken a picture.
