Country Music Fest Day One

We made it to the weekend I’ve been waiting for, for MONTHS!! Greenville Country Music Fest is here! We’re excited to spend THREE WHOLE DAYS partying with some of our favorite artists – I’m looking at you, Red Clay Strays, Whiskey Myers, and Jon Pardi!

We started out the night at Vaughn’s Food Hall in Simpsonville. Yum. I ordered the Vaughn’s Classic Cheeseburger and a side salad. I was preoccupied with getting in and out so I didn’t pay too much attention, but it’s a cool space and I’ll definitely go back. (I saw they had seafood!)

The weather was nice. It did get pretty cold once the sun went down but we weren’t miserable. It’s not possible to be unhappy at the CCNB Amphitheater at Heritage Park in Simpsonville!

He. Is. Hot. Y’all. 🔥😍

I wasn’t familiar with Flatland Cavalry, but they were really good. The lead singer was maybe seven years old (which makes me old) 😆 I’ll be adding them to my Spotify playlist.

The reason Cassie came!

Megan Moroney was GREAT! I’ve not listened to much of her music, but loved the words to her songs. She’s super relatable. Cassie, of course, had the best time!

Move over, Chick Fil A, Bojangles sold mini cartons of sweet tea. My life was made.

The entire night was perfect. Well, except for the very first man we encountered when we pulled into park. He was SO, SO rude! Too bad they don’t wear name tags!

Day Two is coming up! Stay tuned…
