It is 2:09 am and I am wide awake.
I just finished reading Colleen Hoover’s Ugly Love and I am UNDONE. Like, I. Could. Not. Stop. Reading.
It’s funny, because Faye read it first and said it was, “okay.” I’m lying in here wondering how two people can read the same story – the same genius story – and have two COMPLETELY different reactions.
Now, listen up… there’s language and there’s sex. There was too much of the latter for Faye’s taste. You ain’t gonna find this one on the shelf of Crossway Christian Books.
BUT.
I loved every chapter. Every story line, because there’s more than one. It’s exciting , sad, maddening, and tender all at the same time.

Synopsis
Miles and Tate meet. Miles and Tate do not like one another… at first. His past won’t allow him to love. She thinks she can handle it because, well, he’s tall, handsome and a pilot. They agree to just be “friends with benefits.” Only, without the friend part. So, they’re essentially just benefits. Lots of benefits.
You guys can see where this is headed. Feelings creep in. Lines get blurred. Hearts get hurt.
Thankfully, Tate has Cap. Her eighty year old best friend.
And that’s all I can tell you.
If you get offended (or convicted) by off-color content, don’t even bother. But if you’re able to read a book purely for entertainment purposes (sorta like watching a movie) then this will be one of the best books you read.
And if it’s not, I don’t even wanna hear about it.
