Well, I failed at updating you guys from camp.
Forgive me?
As always, it was a great week, but I’m not gonna lie, it wears me out! My days are spent chauffeuring campers around, taking pictures and filming their activities.

I love EVERY minute.

Recording everything they do, editing, and sharing it online for their families to see takes up almost every hour of the day, so posting here was not as easy as I would have liked.

There’s nothing like the bond between Camp Joy staff. I’m so thankful I met these amazing people. I’m always sad for the week to end, but ready to get home at the same time. This summer, I’m working TWO weeks at Camp Joy North Carolina! Preston and I are already counting down the days.

Speaking of Preston…

He turned FOURTEEN on Friday! I cannot believe I’m even typing these words. I know it’s cliche, but where in the world does the time go? I was making a birthday reel to share on social media and I told Laurie, “his childhood is almsot over, we’ll never get this back.”

For some reason, that thought hit me hard. We are going to blink and he’ll be driving. No part of me is prepared for the grown up version of these boys.

I hope all of you are doing well. Things are going remarkably well around here (please knock on wood FAST).
