We’re back home, trading in VIP status for ZERO status. Nanny has traded in her lined robe for slippers that look like they belong in a supply closet on the end of a floor mop.

Our Staycation was everything we hoped it would be. This was my first time at the hotel. I’ll share all the details in our Greenville story, but here’s a handful of pics…

This guacamole was some of the best I’ve had! All of the menu items come in these cute wooden boxes.

Cassie ordered the Smash Burger. Had I not eaten a burger the night before, that would have been my pick. I was a little envious. Cassie gave it five stars!

The prices were reasonable. My roll had a TON of lobster meat and was only $24!

I had a beautiful dinner… ALONE (probably contributed to why it was so beautiful). One of the hotel employees told me to order the grouper, so I did. The dish was called Grouper + Grits. Thankfully I listened because WOW! Not only was there fish, but probably 7 or 8 shrimp too!

Saturday morning, we enjoyed the hotel’s complimentary breakfast before I headed to the spa for my facial.

When I walked in, the lady said, “first, we’ll evaluate your skin…” I could have saved her the time and effort. It’s. Not. Good. She went on to ask if I felt stressed at all. Hmmm. We were only together for fifty minutes, so I just said, “maybe a little!” What I wanted to tell her was, NO amount of oil and/oxygen could eliminate the kind of stress my face feels. 😅

Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed the treatment!

I hope everyone is having a restful day off! It’s 1:22 pm and I’m still in my pajamas, so I’m calling that a WIN!
