We just arrived in Tiger Town (aka Clemson, SC) and I’m excited! We’re not even going to be here a full twenty four hours, so we have to make this count!

We checked into The Shepherd Hotel as soon as we got here. I’m not going to share TOO much info here, because I want y’all to read our Greenville story! Suffice to say it’s a very special place.
I will also be sharing ALL of my photos in this week’s newsletter. If you’re not already, be sure to subscribe!

We skipped lunch, so the very first thing on our To-Do List was DINNER!
I asked one of the valet guys if we should eat at the tavern across the street. “Yeah, I mean, it’s decent,” was his answer. Umm, how ‘bout NOPE.
He went on to say, “if you’re looking for food (🤔) Loose Change is around the corner and it’s amazing!”

Clemson students sign and hang dollar bills on the walls when they graduate. 🧡💜

Yes, those are bras hanging from the rafters. No, we didn’t leave ours! I’m pretty sure the support beams wouldn’t hold mine, but whatever.

I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy and Nanny got the burger, which our waitress promised was “THE BEST in town.” We all know she’s being paid to say that, but she was not wrong! If I had it to do over again, I’d order mine without the sauce – it was a little too spicy for my taste. I dipped it in ranch and ate (almost) every bite. We left with a box full of leftovers and full stomachs!
I need to thank the valet.

I’m going to leave you with this.
Tell me you don’t belong in a Five Star hotel without telling me you don’t belong in a Five Star hotel. If anyone is gonna roll up into The Shepherd Hotel with half their dog’s coat stuck to the bottom of their sleep socks, it’s Nanny.
If this isn’t Instagram vs Reality, I don’t know what is. 🤦🏻♀️
Please send help.
