Hello & Happy Tuesday

Preston and I got home from camp Friday afternoon, crashed, and we’re just now looking halfway alive. There is NO tired like Camp Joy tired, but we’ll both be ready to do it all over again at the end of July!

He had three friends spend the night last night. I woke up this morning to an opened box of bandaids and a knife on the kitchen counter. Did I ask them what happened? No, I did not. Am I sorry for not asking? No, I am not.

I’m spending this week with my friends three kids while they sneak away for a short couple’s vacay. Two (almost) three year olds and an almost five year old is easier is some ways than teenagers.

Who in the room would agree?? Parents who’ve raised teens, that’s who!

JP’s business continues to THRIVE! I could not be more excited. Extremely overwhelmed, but excited. He’ll be selling his art at the Upcountry History Museum on Saturday, July 19 from 10-2pm if you guys wanna come out and visit! The market is included in the (very small) price of admission. You can support JP while also supporting one of our favorite local spots!

Like I said, this week I’m doing the “nanny” thing. Saturday, we’re leaving for the beach and I CANNOT WAIT! I’m so so ready for a vacation!

Happy Tuesday, everybody, I hope your week is off to a great start!
