We made it to Ocean Lakes late Saturday afternoon. I am officially sitting in Pure Bliss. In case you’re wondering, Pure Bliss is defined as: one who doesn’t set an alarm to wake up each morning and does not have anywhere specific to be at any specific time.

Shortly after we arrived, Cassie and Heather rolled up on the longest golf cart I have ever seen. It has turning signals, a back up camera, and is Bluetooth compatible! Where were these things when Heather and I were their age?!
I wish I could post videos because Nanny was on another level – Tennessee Whiskey (her favorite song) was playing as she swayed off the side of the cart. (if you’d like to see the video, I have it saved on my phone 😆).
The teens are living their best life in the campground while we sit on the beach, thanking the Lord that our days as parents of young kiddos are over. Don’t get me wrong, I loved those days. But there’s something magical about sitting at the edge of the water with your eyes closed, because you don’t have little humans to watch in the ocean. Of course, on the other hand, now we live in constant anxiety over what our teenage humans are getting into. So I guess you trade one hard for another as they grow.
For now, it’s 9:23 am and I’m still in pajamas about to start a new book, so Life Is Good!
