It has been OVER a month since I’ve posted here and I cannot apologize enough!
Bottom line, we are living in a CRAZY season of life (aren’t they all crazy?) and sometimes I have trouble keeping up. Now that I’m working at the Meyer Center two days a week, it’s hard to keep up with Greenville media, JP’s art stuff, and my newsletter. I’ve thought about letting the blog go, but, at the end of the day, I just don’t want to. I love coming here and sharing the not-so-professional side of our life.
This space is where my writing journey began. It feels wrong to abandon it. Probably sounds silly to you, but it’s real.
It’s 8:30 pm and I’ve only been home for about thirty minutes. I won’t keep you too long. I’ll give a quick life update and then resume posting more regularly. I’m old and ready for bed!
JP
We’re taking the month off from markets to give him time to catch up on a few commissioned pieces and work on Christmas ornaments and coasters.

One of his large canvases recently sold at the coffee shop. The above pic is one he replaced it with.
Other than painting, JP has enjoyed going to concerts. His mom doesn’t necessarily enjoy going, but cherishes the time together.
Preston
When we took Preston out of school, he told us that he had not read a book since the last time we homeschooled him in the sixth grade. I’m happy to report that, two months in, and he’s already finished a WWll novel. Outside of reading and following up with documentaries, he is working through Geometry and Biology classes online. For his Marketing and Entrepreneurship classes, he has been going to Greenville jobs with me, and helping with the behind-the-scenes of JP’s business.

He’s also been volunteering at the Meyer Center.

Other than school and volunteering, he pretty much plays baseball, baseball, and more baseball (high school & travel ball).

Nothing much has changed with me, Laurie, Nanny or Papa. I assume most of you don’t care about us anyway, LOL.
That’s all for now. Mom and I will be working in Charleston this weekend, so stay tuned for those pics!
I’ll leave you with photos from the past couple of months…

That’s a wrap, guys (for now)!
Stay tuned…
