I’ve morphed into a full grown sloth.
All I’ve done during this ice storm is watch TV. Specifically, Netflix.
Actually, today I got a lot of work done on my laptop but, prior to this afternoon, I’ve been (not so) slowly losing brain cells. Was I re-watching Grey’s Anatomy for the five millionth time? Yes. Yes I was. I promised myself I’d stop when Derick died. I kept my promise and turned it off – for good – this morning. Is it truly “for good?” Only time will tell. I hope so because I just get more and more depressed with every episode.
Tonight, however, I’m watching “People We Meet On Vacation.” I’ve read the book by Emily Henry, so I feel like I don’t have a choice. Sadly, I’ve read mixed reviews on social media about the chemistry between these two actors, so I can’t wait to report back!
I’m watching RIGHT NOW. Like, I hit the pause button to write this. I’ll be back…

Okay I’m back.
Oh. My. Gah.
Mark it down. I’m whole-heartedly disagreeing with what I’ve read about the lack of chemistry between Alex and Poppy. I admit, it’s been a while since I read the book. I am sure it’s better – most books are. But, this movie is NOT a waste of time.
The kissing scene. I may have watched it more than a dozen times once. On screen perfection.
I’m gonna need y’all to watch this one and let me know your thoughts.

Full Disclosure:
I was very unsure of Tom Blyth when I saw the trailer. At first glance, I didn’t think he was “hot” enough. If you’ve read Emily Henry, you KNOW how the main character needs to be hot. Can’t explain it, but it’s a thing.
A quarter of the way through the movie, I was like, okay… I see you, Tom. If you have any trouble at all, focus on the eyes. Those crystal blue eyes. And you’ll be A-okay.
Alright. Seeing as it’s almost 11 pm, my editor is deep in Dreamland. Please forgive my (many?) mistakes!
