Hey people. I come to you today 100% confused as to what happened with my other blog. My baby.
My blood, sweat and tears.
Okay, maybe that’s a tad dramatic. But I’ve definitely lost countless hours of sleep over it’s content. Writers, you understand.
So much time and effort goes into building and promoting a blog. The thought of starting over is overwhelming. Not to mention I’ve lost written work I had scheduled to post. To say that I am frustrated or disappointed is a grave understatement.
I am heartbroken.
Needless to say, I panicked when I woke up this morning and realized my site had been “removed.” It’s like I never even existed in the blog world. I talked to several close friends throughout the day – smart friends – and they all gave me the same advice.
“Andrea, step back and breathe. Has it occurred to you that maybe this happened for a reason?”
Hmm. Well first off, I’d have to pull myself out of the tantrum to actually think clearly. And I had not done that yet.
But then I got to thinking… maybe this did happen for a reason, because I have yet to find an actual explanation for what happened. So I think that’s how I am going to look at this little bump in the road.
It really is a small bump. Especially compared to the boulders we’ve managed to get around.
So I ask that you be patient with me as I adjust to this new world. I am the least tech savvy person you’ll ever meet. Blogger was so easy – it did everything for you. In this new little corner of my world called WordPress, it appears that I am in charge.
I’ll learn.
I normally do not post on the weekends, but I am going to try my very best to post the Kindness Challenge I had prepared for tomorrow. We are partnering with Kidding Around Greenville during the weeks leading up to Christmas by participating in a kindness challenge. You can read more about it on their site.
This week’s challenge is THANK. The boys made thank you cards for a local fire department. Make sure to check back tomorrow for a full post on our little adventure.
If you’d like to participate in the challenge, check out the website link provided and use the hashtag #BEKINDGVL
