9 days in and I’m still doing well with all the changes, replacing two meals with Herbalife shakes while eating healthy snacks in between. I have to admit, I was a little concerned with all these snow days. Sitting in the house the majority of the day with nothing to do is a recipe for disaster. At least, it has been in the past. This time’s been different. I feel like the worst part is behind me.

Today – Monday – we got out of the house to run errands. As per usual, we ended up downtown.



I can’t tell you the last time I’ve been to Wild Wing Cafe. They have (or had) the best wrap called, The Cool Chick. and I was really looking forward to eating it!

Today was the first time I’ve been out to eat since implementing my new eating habits. If I’m being honest, I was worried about that.


When I found out they changed their menu, I almost threw a tantrum.


Turkey wrap to the rescue!! Filled with turkey, guacamole, lettuce, and tomatoes, this thing was AMAZING!! It comes with an order of ‘big fat fries’ or you can substitute a different side.


Pat me on the back because I ordered a small house salad AND DIPPED EACH BITE IN THE DRESSING rather than pouring all of it in the bowl. That’s BIG, ya’ll. I love salad, but I LOVE Thousand Island dressing (there’s is crazy good, btw) so my restraint caught me off guard!

I ate half of the wrap and saved the rest for later in the day. I was full, but not miserable.
