The splash pad in downtown Greenville is a popular, and most importantly FREE, destination for families and kids in the Upstate.

There are so many fun and free things to keep your kids entertained around town, but the splash pad is definitely the coolest – pun intended!

BEFORE YOU GO:

Don’t forget to pack sunglasses, sunscreen, flip flops (for when the kids aren’t on the pad) and plenty of water! Also, it’s a good idea to have dollar bills handy in case you have to park in a garage. We’ve never spent more than $3 to park anywhere – the first hour is FREE.

There are several lunch options if you’re not in a picnic kind of mood. Preston loves Subway sandwiches, so it’s our go-to on days like this. You won’t need to move your car because the restaurant is a short walk up the steps beside Halls Chophouse.
