Anyone who knows me, knows that I live for breakfast food.  Well, I live for the beach, but breakfast is a very close second. 

A few weeks ago, I had an opportunity to “test drive” the new Terrace restaurant on Main before they opened. You can read that review HERE. I immediately fell in love, but it never entered my mind to go for breakfast. Breakfast is my JAM. 

Oooh, while we’re on the subject of Jam, strawberry’s my favorite! Strawberry jam on a butter biscuit with a piece of sausage…

 … sorry, I didn’t mean to get carried away.

Back to Terrace…

This time, instead of the caramel apple, I tried the lemon poppyseed french toast. I’m usually not a fan of lemon anything, but it was OH SO GOOD. Better than the caramel apple!

Of course, a trip to Terrace isn’t complete without the red velvet waffle drizzled with cream cheese icing. Take a minute (it’ll only take a minute) and check out the rest of their  breakfast menu HERE and plan to go!

The staff was kind enough to serve us additional items from their dinner menu (aka, we were stuffed when we left and didn’t need to eat again for the rest of the day). 

The Decadent Chocolate Mousse Torte gives my life meaning.

Fine. That MIGHT be a (very small) exaggeration, but if you’re a chocolate lover, ORDER. THIS. Even with breakfast!
