We are always on the look out for a new picnic/play spot and boy did we find one at Tyger River Park in Duncan, SC.
In addition to the playground, there’s a HUGE (clean) sandbox and a splash pad, which is a must when it’s 90+ degrees outside!
I lucked out with this spot because there is not a lot of shade. The kids enjoyed the playground, but spent most of their time in the water.
This photo was obviously taken pre-wardrobe change. Speaking of changing, you’ll find insanely clean and roomy bathrooms on site, complete with a changing station.
The playground is large and something to write home about, but during these hot summer months, you’ll most likely want to hang around the splash pad. Having said that, when the fall arrives, you know where to find us!
Barefoot kiddos are kept on their toes because the intermittent sprays constantly change direction. This was my favorite part!
I was especially thrilled to find this park. Honestly, it’s just too hot to do anything else.
