Okay guys, I did not intend to write another blog post on the Terrace in Greenville. I’ve posted here AND written an article for Greenville360 about their breakfast. I am not being paid to write this post, nor was I compensated in any way. I am writing because mom and I went for brunch last weekend for my birthday and I think you should know about it.
Actually, I’m sort of issuing a plea. You need these breakfast items in your life.
The breakfast casserole (pictured above) was to. die. for. There was sausage and cheese with just the right amount of onion flavor. Mom got a side of grits, which was equally as yummy! And the biscuit with jam was <insert praise hands here>.
I was in the mood for something sweet, so I ordered pancakes. But don’t be deceived, I ordered these as a SIDE item – I thought they would compliment my “real” entree well…
As you an see, I grossly underestimated the portion sizes. I did not have room for all of this! Go ahead and judge me, ’cause I ate it anyway!
Remember the book I’ve been reading this month for a collaboration with M. Judson bookstore? Well, it’s a good one. I got a lot of reading done because my stomach was full and Terrace offers such a calm, quiet atmosphere. (We enjoyed it so much, we may or may not have taken friends back THE VERY NEXT DAY).
The rest of my birthday was pretty amazing. I say it all the time, but there’s little I enjoy more than strolling through town and relaxing at a table outside while staring at people as they walk by. Let’s face it, people-watching is just FUN.
I hope you guys had a great weekend! Make sure to check back Wednesday for our weekend pics… they’re SUPER cute!
My husband and I had dinner at Terrace for the first time a couple weeks ago. We really enjoyed it. We’ll have to go back for breakfast soon!
