Good Thursday morning, friends! I have a confession to make. I have not bought the FIRST Christmas gift. Not a single one. In the past, our school district started the holiday break about a week before Christmas. This year, for whatever reason, we do not get out until the 21st! I never shop until break, so this has thrown me for a loop. I looked at the calendar yesterday and literally panicked!

Why am I telling you this? Because I am going to take a few days off from blogging to get my **** together. And by ****, I mean, shop. I WILL BE BACK NEXT THURSDAY! I am so unbelievably behind here – I still have posts from our Thanksgiving beach trip to share. Thanks for always hanging in there with me.

It’s become an annual tradition to take the boys to the Polar Express in Travelers Rest at the Whistle Stop Cafe. They love seeing Santa on the roof and this year, they got to sit in the front car of the train (thanks, Miss Vickie). 

There are no words for how delicious this was. I’ll just let you stare at the picture.

There is still time to stop in for the kids to have their meals delivered in Santa’s sleigh. JP and Preston love collecting the ducks.

This night was exactly what we needed to catapult us into a Christmas state of mind!
