Well, it’s Monday and the first time the kiddos have been to school  in FOREVER. I don’t think I have to tell you how much fun they’ve had at home. I can’t even remember which day it was last week, but I took them to Saluda Lake landing and let them throw rocks in the lake.

We actually set out to visit the Poinsett Bridge (can you believe I’ve never been?). The roads were too icy so we had to back up (literally) and make a different plan.

JP LOVES finding icicles. He was excited to find this one that looked like a heart. He brought it to me and said, “I heart you, mom.”  I melted (pun intended!).

It was a great day, but I’m all done with snow, thanks. I would like a super-sized helping of warm weather, please.
