I’ve wanted to take the boys to see the Poinsett Bridge for FOREVER! Monday after school we finally made it happen.
I enjoyed the drive just as much as I enjoyed the bridge. In case you didn’t know, caution lights were invented so people like me can randomly pull off the road to play and take pictures.
No one hit Preston in the mouth, I promise. You know those carbonated water drinks called ICE? Well, he obviously loves the red ones!
The bridge was built in 1820. Can you get over that?! I think it’s so cool that it’s still here and we can actually walk across it.
The mouth. It’s literally killing me. But you know, that’s just life with kids, right? The picture might not always be flawless, but the moment captured cannot be replaced.
There’s not a whole lot these boys love more than walking through the woods and skipping rocks across water.
When was the last time I told you how much I love where we live? So beautiful and rich in South Carolina history. If you’ve not visited Poinsett Bridge, definitely add it to your calendar.
