poinsett bridge

IMG_0395I’ve wanted to take the boys to see the Poinsett Bridge for FOREVER! Monday after school we finally made it happen.

IMG_0399I enjoyed the drive just as much as I enjoyed the bridge. In case you didn’t know, caution lights were invented so people like me can randomly pull off the road to play and take pictures.

IMG_0419No one hit Preston in the mouth, I promise. You know those carbonated water drinks called ICE? Well, he obviously loves the red ones!

IMG_0421The bridge was built in 1820. Can you get over that?! I think it’s so cool that it’s still here and we can actually walk across it.

IMG_0429The mouth. It’s literally killing me. But you know, that’s just life with kids, right? The picture might not always be flawless, but the moment captured cannot be replaced.

IMG_0486There’s not a whole lot these boys love more than walking through the woods and skipping rocks across water.

IMG_0480When was the last time I told you how much I love where we live? So beautiful and rich in South Carolina history. If you’ve not visited Poinsett Bridge, definitely add it to your calendar.
