I’m beginning a new series on the blog. I’m actually beginning two, but today I’m just introducing Road Trippin’. Twice a month, I am going to publish a post about a road trip we’ve taken. If you’ve followed us at all, you know that we were at Pawleys Island Thursday through Sunday. It was a wonderful time of relaxation and fun with friends and family. I’ll leave out the part about how the boys fought EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. they were within two feet of one another and I gave myself a headache each day yelling at them.
Yeah, you don’t want to hear about that.
We stayed at the Litchfield Inn and loved every minute of it. Our first experience with them was last November during Thanksgiving. It’s a really nice area – this won’t be our last visit.
This is the largest jellyfish I’ve ever seen. He was dead, but don’t forget they can still sting! The only time I’ve ever been stung, I stepped on a dead jellyfish.
JP and I set our alarm so we didn’t miss the sunrise Friday morning.
After a big (gluttonous) breakfast at Litchfield Restaurant, we met up with our island peeps across the Causeway.
We celebrated Preston’s birthday while we were there.
Everybody loves a sunset on the back water.
We spent Saturday with our friends, riding around on the golf cart looking for Alligators!
Do you see them?! We probably saw 15 or 20. The babies were super cute – not that I want to get near them. The mamas were close by, keeping an eye out…
We got home around five on Sunday and, I assure you, I have no plans to get in a car and drive anywhere for several weeks!
My Road Trippin’ series will officially begin this June.
