Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. JP was with his dad, so I spent most of my time catching up with friends. The weather was on point, which made for a great weekend. It was also nice not having to stick to a schedule or work.
It’s been a while since I’ve published a post about food. Everything we eat is not interesting enough to warrant a blog post, but last week we found a place I’d like to tell you about. Most Greenville natives are likely familiar with Mac’s Speed Shop. Somehow in all my foodie experiences, I’ve missed it.
I wish we could have eaten outside but the 400 mph winds made it impossible. That was a real bummer. Look at this patio. Those clouds! Mac’s is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat before or after a Greenville Drive game (they stay open later on game nights).
BBQ Brisket on Texas Toast
I ordered the pulled pork w/ pimento cheese (OMG), bacon and onion rings on Ciabatta bread. Not pictured: green bean casserole that was to die for and sweet potato fries. Now I’m drooling.
In this case, pictures speak louder than words.
The only thing more gratifying than the food was the price. Mac’s Speed Shop just might become our new Greenville go-to.
