When I scheduled this post for today, I had a plan. I was going to share photos of these ADORABLE kids dancing to live music and living their best life in NOMA Square.
Unfortunately, a storm rolled in seconds after we sat down and we had to pack up and head home. Pictured above is rare footage of Spider-Man with his mask off. Please do not share.
Addie’s expression says it all. We were so disappointed! Thankfully, Greenville’s Heritage Main Street Fridays runs through August 30, so we’ll catch the next one.
The evening was far from a bust…
Cantina76 swooped in to save the day (or late evening).
I had the pleasure of introducing some of my friends to Cantina for the first time. I know, I know. It’s hard for me to believe there are people out there who’ve not been. What empty lives they lead.
As always, the trio appetizer was a crowd pleaser! (Thanks Cantina for the hospitality!)
It had been a few months since my last visit, so I had no choice but to order my Peruvian Shrimp Taco. I did question my decision when these BBQ Chicken Quesadillas came to the table. Have you had them? Wow is all I have to say. My friend loved them too. Looking back, I wish I had asked him to sit at the opposite end of the table. It was sorta rude for him to eat them right under my nose. (I love you, Jimmy!)
I wasn’t going to share this picture of the traditional taco. I didn’t feel like the lighting was right and, let’s be honest, I didn’t really capture how amazing it tastes in this photo. However, this staple entree belonged to my friend, Gail, and she refused to eat until I took the pic because she wanted her taco on the blog. Everybody wave hello to Gail’s taco!
Fridays in Greenville are not only fun but they can cost you next to nothing! Heritage Main Street Fridays is FREE and Cantina76 is the perfect price point for your whole family.
