Today’s Sunday. I’ve had sort of an overwhelming end to my week.

When I woke up this morning, I almost didn’t get out of bed. I didn’t want to go to church. I didn’t want to talk to anyone. I didn’t want to smile and pretend I wasn’t overwhelmed. It’s a full time job to pretend you’ve got it all together. Have you been there?

Like always, once I got there, I was SO glad I didn’t stay home. I needed the message. I needed the music. All of it spoke to my soul.

And it felt good.

I posted the above picture on our Charleston Instagram account this week with the caption, “Life is only a reflection of what we allow ourselves to see.”

I am going to take some much needed time this week to reflect and adjust my vision.

I won’t be blogging this week. I will be back to my regular posting schedule NEXT Tuesday (8/20).
