Jackson and JP checked into Bo Stegall Salon in Greenville for appointments with Amelie Alexander this morning!
It was Jackson’s first haircut and he did great! No worries – all the curls are present and accounted for.

We’ve tried for years to get JP’s hair to lay down. Those of you who’ve been with me since the adoption understand. It’s been a long road.
Remember? The longer it grew, the higher it flew! We’ve kept it buzzed till now. Finally (this year) it began to lay down – thick, shiny and beautiful. Everybody who comes in contact with JP runs their fingers thru his hair. It’s a reaction, you don’t even realize you’re doing it.
But it was definitely time for a cut. JP does not do well with change, so I’ve procrastinated.
I knew I needed to take him to a professional. Because of his social anxiety, I wasn’t sure how it would work.
This was a first for JP too.
I wanted to give a public shout out to Bo Stegall for a peaceful experience. This is not a sponsored post. I’m just one happy mama!
They are feelin’ fresh + weekend ready!
We have a busy few days ahead of us. Saturday will be full of Stax breakfast, birthday celebrations, and family dinner!
Then, I’m scootin’ out of town Sunday for a few days to work in Charleston. It’s been too long. I’m so thankful things are picking back up again!
