Photo Dump

I keep an insane amount of photos on my phone. I thought I’d dump a bunch here before hitting the delete button.

Grab your coffee, this’ll take a minute…

Jackson saw Bubby play baseball for the first time!
I didn’t take pics of the snow cone, ring pop, and frozen lemonade. Let’s pretend he only ate fruit.
Cheering on Bubby at bat…
The last time I had spring rolls, I was on a ship in the middle of the Caribbean. *sigh*

I found a new restaurant. By accident. My friend, Lisa, and I went to see NeedToBreathe at the Well. Walking to Cantina76 seemed like a good idea. Unfortunately, Friday night at 6 isn’t the time to “pop in.”

PSA: eating at Cantina is always the best idea, but it gets REALLY crowded at dinner time on the weekends.

We made our way around ONE CITY PLAZA. Tupelo Honey was a 2.5 hour wait! 😳 No, thank you. I’d rather eat popcorn at the concert (that’s saying a lot because I’m not a big fan of popcorn!)

Across from Tupelo, beside Aloft Hotel, is Basil Thai Cuisine. I’d seen it, but never been.

The wind was out of control! Almost cold enough to run to Mast General and buy a sweater… right, Liesal?!? 🤫

The food was tasty! I’ll definitely go back. Just not in a wind storm.

The concert was unbelievable. A much needed “breather.”
My two helpers at Sam’s. Or “Sam’s house,” as Jackson calls it.
We all love our Bubba.
We’ve officially bought all of the pumpkins in the city of Greenville. They’re painted and sitting on our porch. I do smile when I walk by.

We spent time in Travelers Rest last week.

Each year, they have a scarecrow contest. Entries are displayed in the center of town and everyone votes on their favorite. It’s not an easy task ~ there’s BIG talent in this small town!

This was my favorite. I thought it was appropriate for the Swamp Rabbit Trail! 🚴

We’ve been shopping for new living room furniture for 112 years. We finally found what we loved + it’ll be delivered the first week of December.

For Christmas, we are getting the boys new beds. Of course, JP chose a bed with drawers, cubbies, and secret compartments. Can you imagine what he’s gonna store in them?!? Remember when he used to sleep with a stick of deodorant and a New Testament Bible? 😆

Therapy is still going well for JP. I’ve not written about it lately because there’s not much to say. He looks forward to talking with Amelia and is happy! I thank God every single day.
Sometimes studying takes place in the car. He’s learning to speak Spanish. Ten minute lessons on-the-go. Don’t ya love technology!
We’re spending more time (and money) at the Farmer’s Market these days.

I’ve backed off meat (I still eat some, just not a lot). Jackson loves walking up and down the aisles and picking out fresh fruits + veggies touching every single thing he can get his sticky little hands on.

He brings a basket from home.

In light of everything going on in the world, I’ve been doing a lot of research about natural health. Most of it should be common sense. Should being the operative word. I’m not gonna bore you with details ~ bottom line, I’m eating clean, (mostly) green, and have enjoyed shopping at the Farmers Market. 🥦🍎🍌🥬

I hope everyone’s having a good week. This weekend is Preston’s last baseball tournament + we have a few Halloween activities planned.

I’ll leave you with this morning’s sunrise…

“… His mercies are new every morning.” Lamentations 3:23
