I learned something new this week.

Have you heard of Bait Balls? It’s a formation small fish create when they feel threatened by a larger predator. It’s been all over social media and in the news. These things are everywhere, every day, and very close to the shoreline.

The lifeguards are keeping a close eye on the crowds. Actually, one of them was. The girl out there yesterday was living her best life from the chair, engrossed in long conversations with her friend.

I’m not sure she was aware that she is being paid to watch the water. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh well.

Cassie wanted to celebrate her birthday at Dick’s

Believe it or not, this was my first trip to Dick’s. It’s not for the faint of heart. It’s also not for Papa Jack. Thankfully, he is not with us on this trip.

The food wasn’t as average as I expected, but the plates come with a hefty price. I guess you go into it knowing you’re paying for the experience.
