img_20170201_075202I finally found a green smoothie that doesn’t make me want to vomit. It’s SO, SO simple – otherwise you guys KNOW I wouldn’t do it – and it’s actually good.  I don’t have to hold my nose or anything!

Ingredients:

1 c  Kale

1 c  Almond Milk

1  Banana

The next part is tricky… are you ready?

Put all ingredients in a blender, add ice and blend until smooth.

I told you. Fast + easy!

I take this to work with me in the morning and keep it in the refrigerator for when I need a little ‘pick me up.’  I’ve also had it for breakfast.  If you choose to drink it for breakfast, I would suggest you eat an egg or a handful of almonds or a cheese stick for protein. You could probably even add the almonds to the mix – sounds yummy to me!

Speaking of eggs… boiled eggs are another snack to add to your list of things to eat throughout the day. We boil 6 or 8 eggs in the evening and keep them in the fridge for when we need them. Oh, and BTW, you wanna know the secret to peeling the shell without screaming obscenities (or is that just me)?  It’s pretty simple. Boil your eggs at night and refrigerate them.  By morning, the shell will literally slide off. I am NOT kidding. I’ve read so many articles on the internet about this and haven’t found one that works. I promise you, this one does!

So, today I’ve provided you with an amazingly yummy (and very detailed) recipe ANNNND my personal secret – Shhhh – for how to peel a boiled egg. You guys are so lucky you’re reading this. The best part? All of this information is 100% FREE of charge. It doesn’t get any better than that!
