Drumroll please… we have entered the world of Little League Baseball. Something tells me my Travel Diaries are going to be few and far between for a while! But it’s okay, ya’ll, because this little fella is PUMPED!

The BEST part is, Preston’s best friend in the whole world is on his team! It wasn’t planned… they are meant to be life-long friends. SO, SO cute together!

He’s the only one on the team who has to put on batting gloves before he takes the plate. He’s serious.

It’s no secret that JP isn’t interested in sports. AT ALL. Preston’s dad brings his dog for JP to hang out with during practice.

I guess this is going to be our life for a while. I’m new to this life. JP is more science-minded. I’m signing him up for a LEGO team soon, so you’ll be hearing all about that in the near future. 

There are so many opportunities in the Upstate for kids to get involved. My calendar may not always like it – when you’re away from home several nights a week, it gets hard. But I also know that this season won’t last forever so I plan to enjoy it while I can!
