My (Failed) Attempt at Easter Photos

IMG_20170416_191556_174It would be different if the perfect family Easter pictures didn’t flood my Facebook page.  But they do.  And, don’t get me wrong, I’m glad my friends are able to capture such amazing photos,  I just wanna know how in the world you do it!  Surely you guys go through the same hell I do, right?  Let’s pretend you do.

The above pic was the ONLY decent one of both boys I was able to get.  The entire “shoot” took me roughly 30 minutes and a few possible cuss words.  Crazy fools.

IMG_20170416_191002_447So apparently Preston has issues walking on grass with his bare feet.  He refused to put his feet down.  In the end, (to get the first picture w/ JP), I paid him a dollar to stand up.  Seriously.

The majority of our Easter Sunday was spent on the road.  I can’t tell you how great it felt to finally pull into our driveway at home.  Seven straight days walking through Dollywood – in the heat –  and I am B.E.A.T.

We had a really great week in Tennessee.  I can’t believe how hot it was, though, gah!  I was not prepared for 85 degrees, but I’m not going to complain… bring on summer!

I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter holiday (and Spring Break, if you’re in Greenville).  I’m working on a review of the resort where we stayed so I’ll share that soon.

HAPPY MONDAY!
