When was the last time you played outside in the rain? I couldn’t remember a time and I think that’s pretty sad. Actually, I’m not even sure I have.
Contrary to what our grandmothers told us, you don’t “catch a cold” from being outside in the rain. The only thing you’ll catch is a whole bunch of laughter.
Because that is true. Laughter is contagious.
Greenville has had no shortage of rain the last few weeks. I won’t complain (even if I really want to) because I know we need it. Preston was so bummed last Saturday at the thought of coming home when the rain started (we spent the morning downtown) so I buckled him back in the car and took him to Furman to play in the puddles.
Of course, we also had to stop by Pelican’s Snowballs to get shaved ice!
Now, before you think to yourself how wonderfully fun I am – that is what you’re thinking, right? – you should know that I really just wanted to check out the settings on my new camera phone to see if it truly is water-resistant.
So there. While I might not be the cheerful-Mary Poppins-after-school-special person you were hoping for, we now know the iPhone 7 Plus really is capable of taking pictures in the rain.
TGIF!
