Take Me Out to the Ballgame

One of the many, many things Greenville has to offer is BASEBALL!

An evening at Flour Field with good friends and family is pretty much a summertime staple around here.  You don’t have to be a baseball fan to enjoy yourself.  There’s plenty to keep you entertained, from good food and music, to amazing ice cream and a playground for the kiddos.

IMG_1619Last Saturday we loaded up the car and headed downtown with friends to see the Greenville Drive play Asheville.

IMG_1642Our seats were perfect.  Thankfully the (hot, hot) sun was beginning to set by the time the game started and there was a breeze.  It made the night 100% more enjoyable for these mamas.  You know, because apparently it’s too much to ask for the littlest fans to sit in their OWN seats.

IMG_1641Although JP did have a hot dog (you can’t go to a ball game without ordering a hot dog, right?) our crew goes for the ice cream!

IMG_1670We had a wonderful night and definitely look forward to many more this summer.  You can check their game schedule here.

Stay tuned later this week for pictures of Preston taking batting practice with the team!
