We typically visit Sullivan’s Island or Folly Beach when we go to Charleston. Last weekend we spent time on Isle of Palms.
Let me tell you, I was so impressed. There’s an entire little ocean front town with restaurants and shops. VERY CUTE! We tried a new restaurant (well, it was new to us) called Banana Cabana and it was 100% yummy! Stay tuned for a Food Diaries post.
These pictures were taken last Saturday. Mom and I brought the boys down for the day. Yes, you read that right – we came FOR THE DAY Charleston is completely doable as a day-trip. I am working on a “Summer Series” post on how to do Charleston in a day. It is one of our favorite things to do. It’s perfect if you’re like me and live on a budget but long to breathe in the salt air.
As a matter of fact, I am typing this post from a house in Charleston. We came home for a little more than 24 hours and then a friend and I came back with JP for a few days. What can I say??? I’m a BEACH BUM at heart.
