Helloooooo friends and happy, happy Monday! I am SO thankful to be back in the States! As much as I love to travel, there’s no place like HOME.

There are no words to describe the week I’ve had. Haiti is beautiful, sad, breathtaking and devastating all at the same time.

Look at that water. This might be the clearest I’ve seen – crystal clear. The pictures do not do it justice. (I did not use a filter, by the way). 

 

Ya’ll know I’m a beach girl, but the mountains were MAJESTIC.

My church sponsors one of the local villages. A group of us went to love on the people who live there. This was my first trip, although it won’t be my last. The team goes every summer.  I wish I could share ALL of my pictures with you, but I want to respect the privacy of the families.

I’ll write more about the trip later and share some of the things I learned. To say it was a life-changing experience would be an understatement.

As you’re reading this, we are on our way to the beach. I will admit, I’m not sure I planned this well. I can barely move! LOL  But, the kiddos are excited and that’s all that matters.
