We booked the CUH-utest mountain cabin in Pigeon Forge Tennessee this weekend. I’ll publish an entire post on the cabin (via Airbnb) later this week.
We have Dollywood passes, but haven’t used them in months because it’s just been TOO hot.
I was a little hesitant with this trip because we haven’t exactly experienced fall-like temperatures. And I’m sorry, but there’s nothing worse than walking around a theme park with sweat rolling down your back. I take that back, walking around a theme park with sweat rolling down your back and two children who are begging for drinks every 30 seconds is worse. At least, that’s what I’ve heard.
Thankfully, it wasn’t bad at all. We had a great time. Preston still isn’t quite tall enough for the majority of the roller coasters, but he rode the Fire Chaser 1.4 million times, so he was happy.
JP is NOT a fan of roller coasters, but he enjoys the Scrambler (pictured above) and the Shooting Star, which is the small drop ride. He is WAY more interested in looking in the shops, mining for gems and watching the Eagles.
This is pretty much what we looked like at the end of each day.
Any time spent making memories with family is a good time!
