Color Me Happy|Fall Foliage

Believe it or not, I’m not as much a “summer” girl as I once was. I know that the beach is my thing, but these days I enjoy it more during the cooler months. Having said that, I’ll have plenty of beach material to bring you over the next few weeks b/c we’ll be chillin’ along the South Carolina shore and I couldn’t be more excited!

Today, though, I thought I’d toss a little Fall your way.

IMG_6787Grab a cup of coffee (or sweet tea if you’re my friend) and settle in ’cause I’m afraid I took one (or twelve) too many photos for this post.

IMG_6781I got a little carried away because, well, there were just so many leaves!

IMG_6812When I was a little girl, we had to drive down Cleveland Street to get to my doctor’s office. My doctor was Edwin McCain’s dad – how cool is that? Anyway, there was a house that reminded me of Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. I just knew it belonged to her! Mom would slow down when we passed so I could stare at it. I loved taking pics of Preston in front of my childhood dream home. And by ‘childhood’ I mean I’m still obsessed with it.

IMG_6827Preston was such a good sport. He let me drag him all over town in a flannel shirt and I’m pretty sure it was pushing 80 degrees outside. Don’t feel too bad for him, he was compensated for his time and whatever inconvenience it may have caused him.
