If you guys follow along on my Insta-Stories (@acbeam) you have seen some of these photos. A couple of weekends ago, we stayed at the Swamp Rabbit Inn in Travelers Rest. You’ll be able to read about our entire weekend SOON over at Travelers Rest Here . In the meantime, I thought I would share a little bit of our experience with the actual Inn.
I want to give a shout out to the owner. Communication with Wendy Lynam was friendly, professional and efficient. She was extremely easy to work with. (We can’t wait to try out her Greenville location).
The grounds are so peaceful. It’s a real oasis.
By the way, if you find yourself in need of Travelers Rest or Swamp Rabbit t’shirts, Swamp Rabbit Tees has an abundance and the owner, Shelby, is small town friendly!
Our room was comfortable and cozy. So much so, we spent more time here than I originally intended. JP is a major “home” body, so getting him to leave the Inn was a job.
Saturday night I used my new bath bomb from Goose Feathers and enjoyed a REALLY long bath.
Sunday morning was filled with cream cheese, bagels, work on the laptop and lots of lazy.
Listen up, travelers… if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay during your visit to the TR area, Swamp Rabbit Inn is the place. It’s secluded, yet in the middle of everything all at the same time.
I hope you guys have had a good week. We packed up our car last night so that we could head out at the crack of dawn this morning for a little weekend road trip. Make sure to follow @acbeam on Instagram for videos and photos of our trip!
