I couldn’t wait to get to the Pawleys Island dock at sunset. There’s nothing like it.
Before we even got on the dock, the kids enjoyed chasing and picking up all the little crabs running around.
This picture was the inspiration for the title of this post. I could sit on the Dock of this Bay all day long.
Poor little guy’s eyes got burned while playing on the beach earlier in the day. I swear we screened him, but he kept wiping the water out of his eyes so… We ended up buying him a fisherman’s floppy hat. It was so cute!
Oh how I wish I was sitting in this very spot today.
I apologize for the late post. I had every intention of posting these photos yesterday, but I couldn’t quite get myself together. Andrew was with us all day, so we spent most of our time by the pool.
We finally got mom home from the hospital Wednesday evening. She is in good spirits and doing pretty well. She’s wearing a Life Vest (which is UH-MAZING) and taking medicine that will hopefully improve the function of her heart. Keep the prayers coming!
Who else is glad it’s FRIDAY?! JP’s dad will pick him up today. I plan to rest, relax and catch up on sleep.
HAPPY WEEKEND!
Those pictures are AMAZING! What a beautiful place to relax, unwind and reflect.
