Our second stop during Restaurant Week was The Melting Pot on Haywood Road. I have lived in Greenville my entire life and cannot believe this was my first visit.

I loved the atmosphere. The booths are so secluded and private. It’s the perfect spot for a date night (or day).

I wasn’t sure how I would feel about fondue. Those who know me, know I’m not a cook!

First up was the cheese with apples, veggies and bread. My intimidation of fondue melted away with the ingredients in the cheese.

Salads are my favorite and this one did not disappoint.

Cooking the food was simple (even for me) and added to the total experience.
