We took the twins to the Vet for the first time this past week – well, it’s the first time we’ve taken them.

Please note, it won’t be long before these guys will be too big to hold. I’m thankful to report, they received a clean bill of health. We’ll take them the first week of January for their last round of shots and then we’ll be able to carry them out in public. I’m so excited!

I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous about crating them, but they absolutely love it. In fact, around 9pm each night, Sampson crawls into the crate and falls asleep. We put Charlie in, and they’re good to go. They are doing really well at night.

Like Preston, I have a lot of sleep to catch up on.

We FINALLY got JP a hair cut.

One of the things I love most about homeschooling is, we can do it anywhere. Right now, JP is reading Where the Red Fern Grows as part of his History curriculum. I’d much rather read downtown than in the house. The weather is supposed to be warmer this week, so hopefully we’ll spend a lot more time outside.

The perfect ending to the day for JP was a visit to O.P Taylors.

Charlie and Sampson are doing really well. They are really calm and sweet. Once we get the potty training taken care of, all will be right in our world (they are doing much better).

For obvious reasons, our routine has been WAY off. My goal this week is to get back into the swing of things. I have a lot of work to do, I just have to make myself sit down and DO IT. We’ll pick back up after Christmas with our State Park visits. I have to go back and look, but I think I have a couple of parks I haven’t shared with you – If so, I’ll try to publish them this week.

We’re all emotionally gearing up for mom’s surgery the day after Christmas, so the anxiety level in the house has been higher than normal (and I’m sure it has nothing to do with the two new puppies!)
