You should know, it’s after noon and I’ve only been awake for about an hour. The two newest members of our family are WEARING me out! They are doing much better at night since putting them in the crate, but still wake up once to go out and then at 5 am each morning. I stay up with them and when they fall back asleep after a couple of hours, I crash! It is literally like having two babies in the house (and I’m 41 and have NO business having new babies!) Having said that, they are SO SO sweet. They have bonded really well with everyone in the family and we’ve already grown attached. Well, most of us anyway. Mom is trying her best not grow attached. I’ll let you know how that works out for her. 

Preston is getting so excited about Christmas. We’ve tried to warn him that the living room won’t be filled with too much this year.  Of course, he’s still beside himself. Between Sampson, Charlie and Dollywood Passes, Santa’s sleigh is running on empty.

I did manage to finish my shopping, which is a Christmas miracle. Our family festivities begin tomorrow (Friday) evening. Some of you will be happy to know that I’ve been less of a Scrooge these past few weeks. Watching the boys so happy with the pups and attending (precious) Christmas programs at school and church has helped.
