These days, when we travel to the coast, we are working the whole time. The kids were out of school for Spring Break last week. They woke up the morning we were headed home and begged to stay an extra day. No one had to twist my arm. The adults were exhausted. The thought of taking a day “off” was quite appealing.
There are several places on Pawleys Island that are secluded and transport you a million miles away.
This trip was a chance to catch up with friends we don’t see very often.

We’re bringing up another generation to enjoy the finer things in life – it appears to be working.
Sunset on the dock – our favorite time of day at our favorite spot on earth.
We thought dinner on the dock was a memorable way to wrap up our time on the island.
A penny wouldn’t be enough for her thoughts.
Now this is what you call dinner with a view.
